The Antall József Knowledge Centre, the China-CEE Institute and the Sichuan University will organize a “China Day” event together, to be held on October 3 2017.  At the event, renown academics from China and Hungary will present the economic development in China with a special emphasis on the rapidly developing Sichuan province and discuss the numerous opportunities for furthering economic collaboration.

“China Day” is an annual celebration that includes different activities held around Oct 1, the Chinese National Day, in Brussels and other important European cities, each year since 2012. A series of academic seminars and special activities are organised at renown and influential European universities under the main theme of “Contemporary China and its development”.

Since 2012, “China Day” has been held in over 15 European cities such as Brussels, Gent, Leuven, Bruges, Leiden, Barcelona, Madrid, Granada, Stockholm, Budapest, Geneva, Paris, Florence, Amsterdam.  “China Day” will further enhance cultural communication between China and Europe by introducing China’s progress and development, in addition to its modernization process.
