The development, distribution, support and research of geopolitics has a geostrategic importance. Our main objective is to encourage the creation of knowledge which describes and forecasts the global world and the geopolitical challenges. Pallas Athéné Geopolitical Foundation is working on knowledge-sharing, organization of conferences and workshops and distribution and stimulation of geopolitical thinking.

In the beginning of 2015 Pallas Athéné Geopolitical Research Institute was created with a clear goal to become one of the most influential geopolitical think tanks in the region, which focuses on Asia. Our researchers mainly support the work of the PAGEO Foundation and the Central Bank of Hungary, while also working on their own geopolitical fields of research.

PAIGEO is constantly looking for partners (scientists, scientific institutions and universities, etc.) for long-term scientific cooperation in related topics, such as geopolitics, economy, monetary policy, political sciences, and international relations. We are planning to establish a network of researches and institutions for promoting scientific activities like joint research projects, conferences, workshops, summer schools, research training courses and publication activities. We promote the exchange of scientists, providing internship possibilities and scholarships for young scientists and students. Our research institute is committed to publish Asian scientific results in Hungarian in order to promote better understanding of the region in Hungary. We believe the international cooperation in research has the ability to strengthen partnership between researchers and will be mutually beneficial for our partner countries and Hungary.
